route to marseillan

This is the route we take to Marseillan, however you may wish to stop en-route and enjoy some of the places along the way.

Exit either Le Shuttle or the ferry port and take the A26-E15 towards the E17 to Reims. From Reims take the A4-E17 to Chalons and Troyes, where it becomes the A26-E17. Carry on to Langres and Dijon, on the Beaune and Macon, E15-E21-A6, after Macon through to Lyon. Go through Lyon and take the E15-A7 direction to Marseille, and stay on this road until Orange then it divides, take the A9-E15 to Nimes and Montpellier, passing the Montpellier turn off, take the road to Sete, then the D113 towards Meze, and from Meze the road to Marseillan is signposted D51. Arrive Marseillan.

Booking channel crossings may be made through P&O or one of the other carriers.
Bargain flights with Ryanair to Carcasonne, Nimes, and Montpellier are also available.

You may also wish to telehone Euro Star for promotions to Sete, Adge,and Montpellier, and bear in mind the excellent Motor Rail service to Narbonne.


It is also worth noting, that low-cost air carriers such as easyjet fly to many of the local airports, where you may easily hire a car for a shortened trip to Marseillan.
